The Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation at GateWay Community College is funded by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Agency, City of Phoenix, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Maricopa Community College District. Operated in partnership with the Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (as management consultants), CEI provides recognized best-in-class programs to assist in the development of companies in the bio/life science, clean tech, software and technology marketplaces.
Virtually all of our programs for entrepreneurial development are open to the community, most often at no charge. These include "lunch and learn" mid-day working seminars and all of our youth and community entrepreneurial programs. Please see our calendar for events and registration.
CEI also is developing GateWay Community College student and faculty incubator programs. Included is the ability to leverage GateWay’s students for student research projects, internships, externships, projects for credit and fee, as well as access to the GateWay Community College manufacturing labs, water treatment, health sciences and other advanced technology and occupational programs.
Community alliance is a cornerstone of our program. To help our clients succeed, CEI has developed strategic relationships with many organizations throughout Arizona.
