For over 20 years, Christopher Brelje has been practicing immigration law. Prior to creating his own firm, Chris was a partner in Lewis and Roca’s Phoenix office where he headed their immigration law division. Now, he and his law partner Jake Muklewicz own and operate the Law Offices of Brelje and Muklewicz, P.C., a firm that specializes in business and employment immigration law, including H-1B visas, L-1 intracompany transfers, TN status under NAFTA, PERM labor certification, and employment permanent residency cases. The firm also counsels employers with regard to I-9 employment authorization compliance and E-Verify.

Chris is past chairperson of the Arizona chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) and past chairperson of the Immigration Section of the State Bar of Arizona. Chris has litigated in both state and federal court and has argued immigration cases at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1995 for expertise in immigration law. Chris holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest “AV” rating.

Chris splits his time between Flagstaff and Phoenix. He is a private pilot and enjoys flying his Cessna 182 into beautiful Pulliam Airport.
